| I started my 1st official restoration at my new
shop. It was an aluminum 1964 Plymouth Savoy Max Wedge built for Bud Legg, a
surfer guy who liked Mopars. That car made the cover of Muscle Car Classics Keep in mind that this was only a hobby of mine at the time. The earlier 1960s Mopars were just beginning to gain recognition again but because I also needed to pay rent I worked on Dodges and Plymouths from 1962 clear to '74.
